Master of Science - Computer Science
Interests: Cybersecurity, Blockchain, Distributed SystemsHi, it's nice to meet you! I'm glad you came to visit my site. Through touring this site I hope you get to know me.
I'm on the job hunt looking for positions in full-stack, big data, or blockchain development. Although I'm extremely flexible, and I relish the challenges that the different pillars of computing provide.
As far as my background... My research at CSU was focused on the cybersecurity of industrial control systems (ICS). Predominately my work centered around high-fidelity simulation of supervisory control and data acquisition systems (SCADA) for cyber-security and functional safety testing. This research will allow early identification of vulnerabilities in the network protocols, system architectures and feedback loops which are central to control system infrastructures. By identifying these problems early we can anticipate attacks, and develop countermeasures in a safe iterative fashion.
Future Goals:
I just graduated with my Master's degree in Computer Science, and my Bachelor's degree was in Human-Centered Computing. My long term goal is to be in a product/project management role where I can apply my knowledge of technology and passion for leadership to help people maximize their own skills. However, in the meantime, I want to develop my skills as a software engineer so that I have the technical competencies for a leadership role. I've sent out applications to most of the big companies and a lot of startups. My areas of focus have mainly been in systems (distributed databases & cloud computing), blockchain applications, and general software development. These are the areas that I have the most skills and experience. Cybersecurity is also an option for me as it was my overarching research topic as a Master's student, but I'm not as interested in it as those other areas.
